The EQuest Education Group has been honored with the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Impact Showcase award by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) for its initiatives towards sustainable development in alignment with the United Nations' millennium goals. This marks the second consecutive year that EQuest has received this award.<\/i><\/div>\n

The year 2023 marks the second year that AmCham Vietnam has presented the ESG Impact Showcase award to the EQuest Group<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For EQuest, the ESG Impact Showcase award acknowledges the group's and its member units' contributions to initiatives promoting environmental protection, solutions with positive societal impact, and a management strategy ensuring sustainable values for Vietnam's education system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some notable projects recognized by the award committee include the English language education project integrating mathematics and science for primary school students through a combination of in-person and online methods (iLink model), implemented by iSMART Education (a member of the EQuest Group) in two districts: M\u00f9 Cang Ch\u1ea3i (Y\u00ean B\u00e1i) and Nam Tr\u1ef1c (Nam \u0110\u1ecbnh). After more than a year of implementation, the project has achieved impressive results. In M\u00f9 Cang Ch\u1ea3i, it has helped over 6,500 students and teachers enhance their English proficiency through mathematics and science, with 69.6% of students completing the English Science program and 77.6% excelling in English Mathematics. In Nam Tr\u1ef1c, 90.5% of students completed the English Science program, and 83.5% completed the English Mathematics program. These results reflect significant improvements in enhancing English skills for students.<\/span><\/p>\n

In M\u00f9 Cang Ch\u1ea3i district, students are learning English through a combination of online and in-person methods<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The second project supported by EQuest is the mental health education project for students, establishing the School of Well-Being. Over 1,000 students, teachers, staff, and parents of the Alpha Education System have accessed psychological services, providing mental health knowledge to thousands of students in public schools in nearby regions. In July 2023, surpassing 744 elementary and high schools in the Asia region, the Alpha Education System became the champion (high school level) in the \"Healthiest School in Asia\" competition sponsored by AIA.<\/span><\/p>\n

The University of Foreign Languages awards iSMART Education a certification for the assessment of the online and in-person combined English language teaching model (iLINK model)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Apart from creating sustainable values for education, EQuest has made significant contributions to environmental protection and community welfare through meaningful and practical activities, such as the Green School project implemented in educational institutions, workshops for over 5,000 employees focusing on health, mental health, and work-life balance, and collaboration with local authorities in Ho Chi Minh City, Nam \u0110\u1ecbnh, and B\u1ebfn Tre to support 150 disadvantaged families during the 2023 Lunar New Year celebration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The year 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of EQuest's development. Being honored once again at the ESG Impact Showcase award signifies a meaningful milestone for EQuest and its member units.<\/span><\/p>\n
